Installation Diagram Model 4400H Hydro Boost for Ford Vehicle.pdf

Installation Diagram Model 4400H Hydro Boost

The Brake Saver valve is to be installed between the power steering pump and the hydro-boost and the control box on the chassis. To be activated the unit receives .67 amp of power from the stop light. When a stopping motion is felt by the sensor the valve modulates 3 times per second, until the vehicle comes to a stop. The pulsation is achieved by the pulsating pressure reduction at the valve, set by the calibration valve.

The modulation of pressure reduces the heat on the rotors and drums extending the brake life by not allowing distortion. The system is packaged with the 4400H unit, a hydro-boost valve and fittings. The items needed to complete the installation are 18 gauge red wire, bolts and nuts, or machine screws, hand tools and a tubing cutter.
