This Supplementary Service Manual has been prepared to introduce new
service and data for the YP250A ’99. For complete service information
procedures it is necessary to use this Supplementary Service Manual
together with the following manual.
YP250A is equipped with the ABS
(Anti-lock Brake System). With the scooter stopped, YP250A allows a
driver to test the performance of brake lever reaction force which is
generated when the ABS operates.
There are two methods for the HU operation test, but this section describes only about the HU operation test 1.
- HU operation test 1: Equal reaction force to the time of ABS operation is generated on the lever.
