The fitment of the Evo 6 intercooler will not fit in this way if you
have the standard airbox – this fitment requires a SIP (straight
induction pipe) to be fabricated at the same time. Also it does require
some trimming of the internal structure on the OE bumper and the cutting
of the foam support section.
If you don’t want to do this please use
another FMIC. In addition the ICV (idle control valve) must be remounted
on the alloy pipe near the throttle body, this requires a plate welding
onto the intake tube
